ERP Non-Profit Consultant

The ERP Non-Profit Consultant will focus on the not-for-profit industry, learning how these businesses function from operations to key management reporting. This position will include delivering software solutions for implementing and supporting projects with high customer satisfaction and successful customer adoption. Understanding each assigned client environment and strategic business goals will allow the ERP Non-Profit Consultant to provide solutions based on client requests and offer recommendations based on Sage Intacct’s quarterly release schedule. The ERP Non-Profit Consultant is a team player who also works well independently and has a passion for improving processes, learning new technologies, and helping others succeed.

Technical Functions:

  • Collaborate with teams and customers to implement ERP software using Sockeye's methodology, driving on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery.
  • Lead role on multiple simultaneous projects. (2-4)
  • Manage workload on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Conduct requirements definition discussions.
  • Design solutions.
  • Configure software.
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Conduct training for customer end-users at all levels of the customer’s organization and relate system functionality to customer business requirements.
  • Analyze complex business processes and interpret customer requirements into deliverable solutions (i.e. cost allocations, union payrolls, equity distributions, consolidations, etc.)
  • Perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements.
  • Demonstrate expertise with financial and accounting functions
  • Manage complex migration projects from beginning to end
  • Utilize and regularly contribute to team knowledge repository for best practices and lessons learned in form of knowledge base article (2 annual contributions)
  • Encourage continuous improvement in the areas of reporting/dashboarding and automation for clients to improve their system functionality
  • Effectively document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business management processes utilizing Sockeye’s best practices
  • Monitor and respond to customer technical issues
  • Ability to easily identify outliers in reviewing financial data
  • Build industry-specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards
  • Identify risks and monitor through necessary escalation channels
  • Any additional assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in consulting or auditing strongly preferred
  • Sage Intacct Implementation certification strongly preferred
  • Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist certification strongly preferred
