Senior Sage Intacct Consultant
Sockeye is actively seeking a Senior Sage Intacct Consultant to join our Sage Intacct for Construction and Real Estate (CRE) team. In this position you will be responsible for providing exceptional support for our existing client base and lead new Sage Intacct CRE implementations. Using prior experience, training, and education, the ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication and work closely with clients and other Sockeye team members to resolve challenges and improve customer processes. This is a client-facing role that requires a deep knowledge of construction accounting and construction management processes, coupled with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Technical Functions:
- Collaborate with teams and customers to implement Sage Intacct using our methodology.
- Lead role on multiple simultaneous projects.
- Manage workload on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Conduct requirements definition discussions.
- Design solutions.
- Configure software.
- Perform unit and integration testing.
- Conduct training for customer end-users at all levels of the customer’s organization and relate system functionality to customer business requirements.
- Analyze complex business processes and interpret customer requirements into deliverable solutions (i.e. cost allocations, union payrolls, equity distributions, consolidations, etc.).
- Perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements.
- Demonstrate expertise with financial and accounting functions.
- Manage complex migration projects from beginning to end.
- Effectively document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business management processes utilizing Sockeye’s best practices.
- Monitor and respond to customer technical issues.
- Ability to easily identify outliers in reviewing financial data.
- Build industry-specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards.
- Identify risks and monitor through necessary escalation channels.
- Any additional assignments as requested by management.
LEADERSHIP FUNCTIONS:
- Suggest and design internal process improvements.
- Participate in the interview process for potential new employees.
- Contribute to the mentorship, training, and onboarding process of team members
- Serve as subject matter expert for the team (3-4+ identified areas).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Sage Intacct Implementation certification required.
- Sage Intacct Construction certification required.
- 3-4 years' Sage Intacct knowledge (required).
- 3+ years’ construction accounting experience, including multi-currency, tax, and project billing.
- 3+ years' experience in consulting (preferred).
- 1+ years’ working with construction management applications such as Procore (preferred).
