Sage Intacct Analyst

Currently, Sockeye Business Solutions is seeking a ERP (Sage Intacct) Process Analyst for a 100% Remote role. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the continued success of clients through post-implementation enhancements to client environments. Understanding each assigned client environment and strategic business goals will allow the ERP Process Analyst to provide solutions based on client requests and recommendations based on Sage Intacct’s quarterly release schedule. The ERP Process Analyst is a team player who also works well independently and has a passion for improving processes, learning new technologies, and helping others succeed.

Technical Functions:

  • Responsible for ensuring clients' needs are met on a timely basis while maintaining a focus on overall client satisfaction.
  • Conduct training for customer end-users at all levels of the customer’s organization and relate system functionality to customer business requirements.
  • Analyze complex business processes and interpret customer requirements into deliverable solutions (i.e. cost allocations, union payrolls, equity distributions, consolidations, etc.).
  • Perform gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements.
  • Demonstrate expertise with financial and accounting functions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.) for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data.
  • Use standard CSV file uploads and/or an API tool for uploading large data sets.
  • Demonstrate expertise in understanding and translating accounting data in Excel.
  • Design and build light customizations utilizing Platform Services (i.e. Smart Rules & Smart Events).
  • Aid in the design and build of customizations to fill gaps related to system functionality where appropriate.
  • Assist in the conceptual design and architecture of advanced solutions.
  • Identify product or process gaps and/or inefficiencies.
  • Utilize and regularly contribute to the team knowledge repository for best practices and lessons learned in the form of knowledge base articles.
  • Define and manage a customer check-in schedule in collaboration with the Account Manager and meet with assigned clients on a scheduled basis.
  • Encourage continuous improvement in reporting/dashboarding and automation for clients to enhance system functionality.
  • Understand integrations and create appropriate mappings with third-party applications.
  • Maintain working knowledge of third-party applications to support the Account Manager as a technical resource in seeking add-on solutions.
  • Effectively document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business management processes utilizing Sockeye’s best practices.
  • Monitor and respond to customer technical issues.
  • Provide proactive outreach on new or updated functionality where clients would benefit.
  • Able to easily identify outliers when reviewing financial data.
  • Build industry-specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards.
  • Convey project status to clients while identifying changes to schedule and scope.
  • Demonstrate expertise in project coordination and knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Build and maintain project plans, working with project leads or specialized consultants to coordinate resource allocation on individual project tasks.
  • Coordinate internal and client project team meetings.
  • Identify risks and monitor them through necessary escalation channels.
  • Create status reports and conduct client status calls, highlighting upcoming and overdue tasks.
  • Keep current with industry trends and seek solutions that can be applied across multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Any additional assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Sage Intacct required
  • 1-2 years’ Construction Accounting experience preferred
  • 1-2 years’ experience in consulting preferred
  • Sage Intacct Implementation certification preferred
  • Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist certification preferred
