Intacct Sales Engineer

Reports to:  Director of Business Development & Customer Experience           

Job Status:   Full-Time, Regular

FLSA Status: Exempt

The Intacct Sales Engineer will be well versed in all technical aspects of Sage Intacct and can effectively communicate these concepts to clients during live demonstrations and recorded videos.  The Intacct ERP Sales Engineer actively shows their passion for technology, has a highly curious and creative mindset, excels at problem-solving and using logical reasoning, and instills confidence with the client on the delivery of both the software and services offered by our organization. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide demonstrations on software
  • Work alongside sales team members to draw out client requirements 
  • Advise sales team members on software modules based on customer requirements – this will be used to prepare both demonstrations as well as customer pricing
  • Produce demo content that can be used on our website or social media platforms
  • Keep up to date with new features in product releases
  • Advise and help keep up to date templates used to aid in demo creation and customer platform provisioning

Job Specifications:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of construction accounting and accounting software 
  • Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices
  • Optimistic attitude with passion for sales and commitment to client success
  • Highly organized with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions in the language and to the level of the audience
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • Demonstrate combination of creative, technical and analytical skills that provided innovative and flexible solutions for our clients
  • Maximize customer facing activities with the ability to listen, understand and communicate strategic solutions, utilizing effective discovery techniques to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Successful at working in a team culture 

Other specifications:

  • Maintains product certifications 
  • Minimal, occasional travel 
  • Any additional assignments as requested by management

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • ERP software technical or sales experience – 5 years 
  • Construction Accounting Experience – 2 years
  • Sage Intacct Experience – Strongly Preferred
